The department currently participates in undergraduate training towards the BDS degree.
Imminently, the department through the Faculty will begin the MSc and PhD programs. Currently the department trains resident doctors in the clinical postgraduate program.
The department is made up of two units: Conservative and Prosthetic units.
The department is proud of her achievements in endodontics, removable prosthodontics and especially maxillofacial prosthodontics.
The department has many peer-reviewed publications in reputable scholarly journals.
